Anyone joining the Mechelen ring road (R6) via the Mechelen Noord exit cannot fail to notice it.
In collaboration with Hertsens Wegenwerken, M.I.P. supplied two 75m³ GRP (composite) road salt silos for the Roads & Traffic Agency, Puurs District.
The salt silos each have a capacity of 90 tonnes and are mounted on a trestle structure so that loading can take place underneath them. They are also fitted with, amongst other things, load cells with digital readouts and an electrically operated valve.
