Feed

At M.I.P., we divide the ‘Feed’ category into two main segments: animal feed and waste streams. 

Animal feed

For animal feed, we offer high-quality solutions for safe and efficient storage and processing. Our specially designed silos are suitable for various dry products such as compound feed, wheat, barley, maize and soya. These silos, manufactured in one piece, ensure a robust construction and uniform filling thanks to the flanged top inlet. The mirror-smooth inner wall promotes optimal discharge of both granular and powdered products.

In addition, we offer a wide range of designs, including models with a slide chute, external discharge and options for feeding systems or trestle structures. M.I.P. also supplies silo-related components such as screw conveyors, pipework and measurement and control systems, with bespoke solutions for difficult-to-handle products.

Circular raw materials

The second segment comprises residual streams such as Used Cooking Oils (UCOs) and animal waste streams. The acidity of these products has risen significantly in recent years, leading to rapid corrosion of materials such as stainless steel and, in particular, carbon steel. Composite materials are fully resistant to this, meaning our bespoke storage tanks offer a sustainable and efficient solution for the storage and processing of these waste streams and valuable raw materials.
