Superior insulation with glass-fibre-reinforced composite
The thermal conductivity of glass-fibre-reinforced composite is considerably lower than that of steel (by a factor of 450) and stainless steel (by a factor of 300). As a result, composites naturally offer much better insulating properties than both steel and stainless steel.
