Our polyester and composite silos and tanks are manufactured from glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP) using an advanced spray-up process. GRP is a combination of polyester resin and glass fibre, resulting in a strong, durable and corrosion-resistant structure.
For our food-grade silos and tanks, such as flour silos, coffee silos and meal silos, we use specially selected resins with GMP Food Approval. M.I.P. works closely with its raw material suppliers to ensure we always select the best materials for your specific application. In this way, we guarantee that our storage systems comply with the strictest European standards.
Our tanks and silos can be supplied in a food-grade version, with the option of additional Kosher and Halal certification.
Because we construct our food silos and tanks from composite materials, they have a high insulation value and are virtually immune to condensation. As a result, the stored foodstuffs remain dry and do not clump or rot. This property, combined with a seamless and very smooth inner wall, guarantees a smooth and trouble-free product outflow.

Earlier this year, we delivered five tanks with a total capacity of over 14,000 m³. Two new tanks, each with a capacity of 750 m³, will follow in early 2025, further expanding the terminal’s capacity.
