The second feed segment of M.I.P. focuses on the storage of circular raw materials, biodiesel and waste management, with a particular emphasis on used cooking oils (UCOs), animal waste streams and the processing of biodiesel. These materials often have a high acidity, which can lead to accelerated corrosion of traditional storage materials, such as stainless steel and, in particular, carbon steel. This poses a significant challenge for companies involved in the storage and processing of such products.
Storage of circular raw materials, biodiesel and waste management

Corrosion-resistant solution
Our storage tanks, manufactured from composite materials, offer a robust and fully corrosion-resistant solution to this challenge. Unlike traditional materials, our composite tanks are resistant to the harmful effects of high acidity, resulting in a significantly longer service life and lower maintenance costs.
Hoge isolatiewaarde
In addition, our tanks are fitted with high-quality insulation and bottom coils. The insulation performance of our composite tanks is significantly higher than that of traditional tanks, resulting in substantial savings on energy costs for our customers and ensuring a more consistent temperature for the stored products.

Fitted with a walkable roof
Another key advantage is that our tanks are fitted with a walkable roof as standard. For added safety and convenience, a flat walkway 800 mm wide can be installed, eliminating the need for non-slip galvanised steel platforms. This not only reduces maintenance requirements but also provides a safer and more comfortable way to access the tanks.
Furthermore, our watertight upstand ensures that dirty rainwater never flows over the tanks. Rainwater is efficiently drained via an integrated drainage system, with at least two drainage points per tank. This design further contributes to the durability and ease of maintenance of our storage tanks.
