For the 3rd and 4th regeneration furnace of Desotec in Roeselare, M.I.P. a chimney of 30 m high, with a diameter of 1.2 m.
The chimney is completely self-supporting, anchored with cast-in anchors, without tension cables.
Due to the high humidity of the neutralized gases (up to 80°C), the customer chose composite (vinyl ester resins).
