M.I.P. has been commissioned by Sibelco, the global market leader in processed raw materials, to manufacture and install three silos, including the supporting structure.
The silos, with a diameter of 5.12 metres, have a capacity of 185 cubic metres. The entire structure is 20 metres high. To ensure rapid overall planning, the complex transport systems for the new silos have been fully prefabricated. This requires a high degree of precision in the silos’ dimensions.
Sibelco is committed to making its silo park more sustainable by replacing ageing steel silos with polyester silos and also by undertaking more new projects using polyester silos.
