Intracoat is a family-run business that manufactures and distributes sand and gravel in big bags and bagged goods via a nationwide network of dealers: https://bestelgrindenzand.nl/ .
For their production site, they wanted to store silver sand with the best quality characteristics in a silo. Consequently, they opted for a GRP (Glass-Reinforced Plastic) silo, with M.I.P. assisting in the correct design of the silo. This proved quite a challenge, as the silo had to be installed within a very confined space.
Thanks to the new 25m³ silo, with a diameter of 2.8 metres, Intracoat is now able to fill bagged goods fully automatically from the silo.
