M.I.P. was assigned to supply 4 silos for the storage of grain and semolina by the company AWILA Anlagenbau GmbH and to install them for the end customer Raiffeisenagrar Ankum.
The silos have a diameter of 3,5m and a total height of 18.85 m. The silos were manufactured with a standing GRP frame to be mounted on the steel frame supplied by the customer.
Because the silos are transported via a conveyor belt, the challenge was to catch the large load (4 points of 1.2 tonnes) via the silos. The conveyor belt was also integrated in the access to the silos. In addition, a second operating platform was provided at the level of the cones.
M.I.P. has ensured that the end customer was highly satisfied and M.I.P. delivered and installed the silos on time.
