We will soon be able to deliver the 5th and 6th composite silo for the storage of plastic granules to a loyal customer in Nieuwkoop. With an impressive capacity of 38m³ and a diameter of Ø 3,000 mm, these silos are an important step in improving storage processes.
The switch to Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) silos turned out to be a bull's eye. The previous stainless steel silos posed challenges: moist granules led to problems with storage and flow. A successful test with the first two GRP silos quickly convinced the customer of the benefits of composite.
This led to the ordering of silos 3 and 4, and now also the 5th and 6th silos. Together with the customer and our account manager, we have created a design that not only works efficiently, but also fits perfectly in the limited space of the indoor installation.
