Proud of a successful collaboration: the 5th and 6th silos on their way to Nieuwkoop

We will soon be delivering the 5th and 6th composite silos to a loyal customer in Nieuwkoop for the storage of plastic granules. With an impressive capacity of 38m³ and a diameter of Ø 3,000 mm, these silos represent a significant step towards improving storage processes.

The switch to fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) silos proved to be a great success. The previous stainless steel silos had presented challenges: damp granules led to problems with storage and flow. A successful trial with the first two FRP silos quickly convinced the customer of the benefits of composite materials.

This led to the order for silos 3 and 4, and now also the 5th and 6th silos. Together with the customer and our account manager, we have realised a design that not only works efficiently but also fits perfectly into the limited space of the indoor layout.
