Nature Group has once again chosen M.I.P. Tanks & Silos to supply composite storage tanks. The contract for two composite tanks, each with a capacity of 3,000 m³, intended for the Martens terminal in Nieuwdorp, was signed this week.

This order follows an earlier delivery of four 550 m³ composite tanks, which were commissioned around a year ago. These installations have proven their added value in practice, particularly in terms of corrosion resistance and insulation. Shortly after they were commissioned, Nature Group commented:

“We are experiencing an extremely high level of insulation and are very pleased that the tanks are not susceptible to rust, which means there is no pitting of the base or corrosion of the roof.”

The new repeat order – and the scale-up to larger volumes – underlines the confidence in composite as a sustainable and reliable storage solution. The tanks are used within the core operations of the Martens terminal, where waste oil and waste water are recycled.

Composite storage tanks are well suited to this application thanks, amongst other things, to:

  • excellent corrosion resistance
  • high insulation value
  • low maintenance costs
  • low carbon footprint

M.I.P. Tanks & Silos would like to thank Nature Group for their continued trust and looks forward to the successful completion of the project in Nieuwdorp.
