M.I.P. Rijkevorsel is undergoing a transformation

In September, we launched a major refurbishment programme for the factory in Rijkevorsel. The aim is to have this fully completed by the end of 2022. M.I.P. intends to completely refurbish the factory in Rijkevorsel to ensure it remains state-of-the-art. This major refurbishment is set out in the roadmap that forms part of our vision for 2030.

Below is a selection of the works currently being carried out:

✓ New overhead roller doors
✓ Facades cleaned and refurbished
✓ Reorganisation of the production layout (LEAN)
✓ LED lighting
✓ New floors in the production area
✓ New canteens and toilet facilities
✓ Walls and steel columns are being painted
✓ New winding benches
✓ New moulds and adjustable moulds
✓ New compressors and compressed air pipework
✓ Electrical system refurbishment
✓ Heat recovery systems
✓ New extraction system
✓ Air purification system
✓ Foam fire-extinguishing system
✓ High- and low-vacuum dust extraction systems
✓ Full 5S (LEAN) implementation

With its 42,000 m², the M.I.P. factory in Rijkevorsel is one of the largest composite silo and tank factories in Europe. Every year, more than 3,000 tanks and silos leave the factory. Around 100 people work at this factory every day to produce your high-quality product.
