M.I.P. is building a 40-metre chimney

A chimney 40 metres high and 1.90 metres in diameter was manufactured and installed at the factory in Rijkevorsel (Belgium).

The chimney is situated behind the air purification plant at the Rijkevorsel factory.

Following purification using a specialised system, M.I.P. more than adequately complies with the limit value for styrene emissions. As styrene has a very low odour threshold of 2 ppm and small traces of styrene remain after purification, we decided to install a chimney.

This ensures that odour nuisance is now a thing of the past.
