Our client in France now has another biogas plant. Biogas plants use fermentation to produce biogas from organic (residual) waste streams such as livestock manure, unpackaged food, sewage sludge or other products.

This biogas is then processed into renewable gas (green gas/biomethane/RNG) or into green electricity and heat.

The experts at M.I.P. have constructed two tanks with domed bottoms and a capacity of 100 m³. The domed base ensures that the tank can be completely emptied without any problems.

Both tanks have a diameter of Ø 3,500 mm. The tanks are fitted with agitators to ensure the product is mixed homogeneously. A heating coil is installed in one of the tanks, which prevents the product from solidifying.
