The collaboration between M.I.P. and Oostvogels spans generations. What began as a partnership between the previous generation of both family-owned companies has grown into a strong and lasting relationship. Today, both M.I.P. and Oostvogels have developed into leading players within their industries, operating throughout Europe and beyond.
As Oostvogels continued to grow, so did the requirements for its storage facilities. The ten GRP silos supplied by M.I.P. in 2015, each with a usable capacity of 275 m³, still provided sufficient storage volume. However, changes in the products being stored and new expansion plans created the need for a technical modernization of the installation.
Working closely together, M.I.P. carried out a comprehensive upgrade of the existing silos. Various process and safety systems were added, including explosion vent panels, dust filtration units, a CIP system with spray ball, load cells, and other modern technical solutions. As a result, the silos once again fully meet the requirements of today’s industrial applications.
Thanks to this modernization, Oostvogels now benefits from a future-proof storage solution that enables the company to continue supporting its customers with reliable storage and transshipment services. This project demonstrates how a long-standing partnership continues to evolve alongside changing market demands, technological developments, and the ambitions of both organizations.
