M.I.P. recently took an important step in its sustainability ambitions by opting for an innovative and environmentally friendly solution for air purification within the production environment. Instead of traditional afterburning, Pure Infinity's biological VOCUS installation was chosen to remove styrene emissions from the air.
This conscious choice contributes significantly to the reduction of CO₂ emissions, because natural gas no longer needs to be burned to purify the air. The VOCUS installation uses a natural process in which bacteria break down the styrene biologically. The air is led through special reactors in which these bacteria 'eat' the harmful styrene. The result: clean, emission-free air that is safely returned to the atmosphere.
M.I.P. is thus a leader in the composite tank market when it comes to environmentally friendly production methods.
