We store wood pellets as they should be: in a seamlessly wrapped composite silo with centric, delayed filling via our “Perfect Feeder”.
This delayed filling prevents breakage and impact damage to the pellet body. In this way, whole wood pellets are burned and no dust is created that can lead to higher slag formation in the boiler.
Furthermore, the filling via this cyclone has the advantage that the static charge can be discharged during bulk transport. This largely eliminates the risk of a potential ignition source.
With the increasingly stringent requirements for modern installations, less dust formation and the removal of static charge are 2 important reasons to use our silos in an ATEX installation.
