Storage of wood pellets in composite silos

We store wood pellets the right way: in a seamless composite silo with centred, delayed filling via our “Perfect Feeder”.

This controlled filling prevents breakage and impact damage to the pellets. As a result, whole wood pellets are burnt, and no dust is produced that could lead to increased slag formation in the boiler.

Furthermore, feeding via this cyclone has the advantage that static charge can be dissipated during bulk transport. This largely eliminates the risk of a potential ignition source.

With the increasingly stringent requirements for modern installations, reduced dust formation and the elimination of static charge are two key reasons for using our silos in an ATEX installation.
