Nature Group has once again selected M.I.P. Tanks & Silos for the supply of composite storage tanks. This week, the contract was officially signed for two composite tanks with a capacity of 3,000 m³ each, destined for the Martens terminal in Nieuwdorp.
This repeat order follows the earlier delivery of four 550 m³ composite tanks, which were commissioned approximately one year ago. Since entering operation, these installations have demonstrated clear benefits, particularly in terms of corrosion resistance and insulation performance. Shortly after commissioning, Nature Group shared the following feedback:
“We experience an extremely high insulation value and are very pleased that the tanks are not subject to rust, preventing bottom pitting and roof corrosion.”
The new repeat order - and the scale-up to larger volumes - confirms confidence in composite as a sustainable and reliable storage solution. The tanks will be used in the core activities at the Martens terminal, where waste oil and wastewater are recycled.
Composite storage tanks are ideally suited for this application thanks to:
-
excellent corrosion resistance
-
high insulation performance
-
low maintenance costs
-
a low carbon footprint
M.I.P. Tanks & Silos thanks Nature Group for its renewed trust and looks forward to the successful realization of this project in Nieuwdorp.
