Recently, M.I.P. delivered a composite convex bottom tank to a customer. It concerned a customer that develops, produces and distributes food additives, basic chemicals, cleaning agents and disinfectants.
The tank was purchased to replace an existing tank that had been written off. When purchasing the tank, a number of things were important. The tank had to:
- be suitable for the storage of various chemical products
- be KIWA approved
- comply with BRL-K21011/02 & EN13121
There were a number of reasons for the customer to switch to composite: the proven resistance in combination with a long-term guaranteed lifespan of 23 years were important. In addition, the fact that composite cannot rust (so it is maintenance-free) was experienced as an important advantage.
