Our customer in France has a composite biogas plant. Through fermentation, biogas plants produce biogas from organic (residual) flows, such as manure, unpacked foodstuffs, sewage sludge or other products.
This biogas is then upgraded to renewable gas (green gas/biomethane/RNG) or to green electricity and heat.
M.I.P.'s experts have built 2 convex bottom tanks with a capacity of 100m3. The convex bottom ensures that the tank can be completely emptied with ease.
Both tanks have a diameter of Ø3,500mm. The tanks are fitted with agitators to ensure homogeneous mixing of the product. A heating coil is installed in one of the tanks, preventing the product from solidifying.
